I am wanting to make a wall border using my own pictures. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this???

I think the best way would be to take them someplace and copy them onto regular paper. That way you can make them bigger or smaller and put them on different sized sheets of paper from 81/2x11 all the way up to 11x17.
After you have your images ready to be put on your wall, I would decorate the edges with drawings or special scissors or by tearing the edges--this would give some texture.
Then I would get Mod Podge which is a decopageing glue. You use a paintbrush to apply some to your wall and then place the picture on top of it and then apply more all over the image to hold down the edges.
If you wanted to neaten up the look after you've applied the pictures, you could paint a line all the way around the wall just under (or over--so it makes kind of a frame) the pictures.
Good luck!

I wouldn't use adhesive like glue...there are products like putty you can stick to the back of your pictures - I'm assuming these are not too heavy. Depending upon your style of decorating. It c/b fun to put a string along the wall with brightly coloured clothes pegs and make it like a clothes line.
you can use a stencil. trace out the outline of your favourite object. let's say a flower design. then you can cut it out and paint over. you can make it reversible and paint the border or tape up the thing and paint the flower itself.
hope that helped (:
The decoupage idea sleepyguy gave will work unless your walls have texture. Then I would use spray adhesive first and modpodge over your image. I just did this with French wine labels, but my walls are textured (orangepeel) and there are little air bubbles under some of the labels where the space was too big for the amount of decoupage glue to adhere. Also, I used a non-yellowing polyurethane to seal the labels after I let the modpodge dry thoroughly. That is so I can wipe them clean if anything gets on them.
Copy all photos in same tone would look nice like blk and white. then apply them using wall paper glue.
