Use the tool to select a paint color that is as close as you can get to your carpet choices. Then select coordinating colors. While you might not end up with any of those specific colors, you'll get lots of surprising ideas.

Going with furniture is a good idea however you need to ask yourself how long you will be in the house and when do u plan to redo again, especially a child's room. If you go with dark or out there colors you will have a more difficult time selling the house because it takes a lot of work to paint over those colors. The best thing to do is to go online and look up furniture, decor, and other related topics so you can find your style. Once you do this, you can goto local stores or online to find the piece you want at a cheaper price. Keep in mind, it is paint and while it does cost money it is not typically that expensive especially now that home improvment stores are offering samples for a minimal amount of money.
Choose what your heart desires. Listen to the voices in your mind and let it speak. It will let you know what the best color choices are. If your child's room carpet is dark green, then what is the best color for the wall you think is? Same for the hallway and the master bedroom/bathroom. Your husband may may be a good helper too.
In your master bedroom, you could go a couple of shades lighter in the gray with optic white ceilings & deep mauve trim. Use deep mauve accessories or look for a fabric pattern with black, grey & maroon for the curtains & comforter cover. The Hallway is such a neutral space, you could use white or off-white, keeping in mind that hallways are great spaces to show off nicely framed artwork or pix of the kiddies. In your sons' room, try mixing it up. Make two joining walls white & the other two a lighter really complimentary green to offset the carpet. Oh, & go for latex semi-gloss, it cleans up beautifully. You could use camo for the curtains & spread, if he's into GI Joe or hunting, or if he's younger, you could go for a jungle characters theme with that carpet color & wall scheme. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
You should have a theme to each story. If one room has a pastel wall and the next has a deep rich color it won't fit. Often the bedrooms should be pastel or relaxing becuase that where you go to sleep. You should get all the people in your home to help choose because they live there too.
the first issue is the firnutures coulour.in general the coulour of the walls are white, cream, pink for the girls room and blue for boys room.
so check the furniture coulours and this 4 coulours and decide the painting coulour of each room
I would go with a white or a cream to have a little contrat with the gray of the carpet .
