I seem to remember that there is some household produce that can be added to flowers so that they last longer, does anyone remember anything abut this?

I've heard any white liquor.That could be the sugar in it.But then who wouldn't like a nice drink now and then?
Seven Up or Sprite: they have the carbon and the sugar that plants work so hard to obtain. You just have to make sure you are really good about changing it regularly, because the sugar will encourage mold growth in the vase.
