why are tv news sets in the evening uglier than tv news sets in the morning?

In the morning they want to give you more input and stimulation to wake you up and digest the news better by the evening you have had a day's worth of stimulation and input and you will pay more attention to the news casters and the news.

the image it portrays is different. the evening set is more plan to associate professionalism were the morning shows are to attract a different set. this was started as a focus when females were primarily stay at home moms and watched shows in the morning and men came home in the evening and watched shows then. this has just kind of stuck
possibly they want you to wake up to something pretty bright and alluring....but when its time to go to bed they might figure that a more tame dull environment
will make it
easier to relax and sleep....that is my thought....
