Lots of infirm coots suffering with emphysema today are paying for human being maskless macho-men 30 years ago.

As a painter myself , I would suggest wearing a pall , otherwise you could turn out like my dad ( presently retired) ,He never believed in wearing a concealing outfit , and his lungs are no good , he never smoked , merely years of paint particles , along next to the ammonia ,and many other particle like silicone etc. contained within latex paint . He was thoroughly surprised that the exposure to latex has done him more wound than the exposure to all of the front base paints from the 60's and precipitate 70's..., But of course next to the homes we paint there is no spraying outdoors time of year , mainly to protect the copper roofing , cars , stonework , and other surrounding things that could possibly find painted as well . But anyway I would procure the mask if you are unsure as to which is best , walk to Sherwin Williams , another paint store and tell them you stipulation a protective mask for spraying latex .
use a blanket - better safe than sorry
