i have a vintage singer sewing machine i would like to no how to find the value of it and how to sell it?
Answers:
I know that if you are in the UK vintage sewing machines are practically given away in auctions etc. Everything vintage or antique is subject to current prices though so if you hang on to it for a few years then hopefully they will become more popular and thus the price increase. Good luck.
Other answers:
go to ebay and do a search for antique sewing machines. you may be able to find not only one close to yours in all aspects of the machine, but they also have pictures on there. so, if you find one that you think is right, all you have to do is check out the pic, watch the auction and see how much it goes for. this will give you a rough estimate on a price.

I hate to even have to tell you this....but it's probably not worth a whole heck of alot. If it still sews and if you can still obtain the needles and bobbins then you have a pretty good chance of rre-selling it. But not for very much. I'd personally say anywhere from $25.00-$50.00 maybe a little more but I seriously doubt it. Sometimes after awhile the parts are of course no longer made. So it becomes extremely hard to find essential replacements.
I believe you might be able to contact the Singer Sewing Group via email. I'm not sure of thier web address but with a little investigating on the computer I imagine you might be able to find it. Good Luck!
