what is the difference between getting a RANGE RISER and a BACKSPLASH behing your stove in the kitchen??

if i get a range riser, does that mean i dont need a backsplash behind my stove? could i get that and then a different backspash for the rest of the kitchen??

I assume you are talking about the stainless steel back for the the range. If so, you could definately have that with a different backsplash in the rest of the kitchen. They look good as they take you in stainless floor to ceiling assuming you have a hood, definately clean and modern.
