Yes, my wife and I only burn soy wax candles. They burn clean (no soot), they are not dependant on fossil fuels (like regular candles) and they carry scent better.
yes, the soy candles are great they smoke less if any at all, and are made from a renewable source.
We used to use floating wicks which are regular wicks in a plastic disc and burn Wesson oil candles in a brady snifter.
IYou dip the wick in the oil then float it on the surface. Keep the wick short to reduce smoke.
It gives off a golden light.
