how long do i have to leave a newly plastered wall to dry before i can decorate it?

Answers:
I would leave it at least 48 hours that way you are positive that the plaster is dry, but normally depending on how thick it is or the tempature where you live its 24 hours I believe

Other answers:
If you have actual Plaster and not sheetrock it takes a long time with lots of ventilation and dry atmosphere, Real Plaster is seldom used today- Sheetrock or Blue Board with a plastic coating is now called Plaster. A few days of dry weather and ventilation will dry it. Make sure in any case or product you have lots of Ventilation and its dry outside.
