how can i remove glue off a mirror.?

i have an old mirror glued on to a piece of wood. i want to keep the mirror and throw away the wood.i have tried everthing to remove the glue.

Razor blade and glass cleaner, do not use the blade dry, it will scratch the glass
There is a product called UN-DU. You can get it where glue is sold or with scrapbooking supplies. Good luck to you.

try paint thinner
fingernail polish remover
get a sharp razor blade and then spray some windex on the mirror then go ahead and peel off the glue with the razor.
steam it off.or lay it in hot water in tub.

try to break the wood into small pieces carefully without damaging the glass.....
I worked in an antique shop and we always used lighter fluid of all things to remove glue, particularly sticker glue, but any glue from items.
