Looking for some artisitic advice here...?

What wall color choice would be soothing and calming, for a master bedroom?

Answers:
As an Artist, and contractor for most of my life, I have to advise that no answers here will be "right" or "wrong" strictly. We all have personal opinions and define "choice" differently. What works for me, may not for you,,,or others.

Without offering actual colors, I suggest getting a color wheel, a color sample chip booklet, going to a big box home store which offers many small sample pamphlets with pics of how the color is used in various settings. THEN choose in what YOU already feel most comfortable in. Assume that this is a room that should invite you, ask you to stay awhile, and in the end calm you if that's your wish.

That said, however, and not knowing your age, likes, or time spent in a place you might want as a sanctuary, YOU can go Mild to WILD, static or animated, and still be comfy there.

One of the things a color wheel will do for you is offer your basic choice and should have windows showing opposites, complimentaries, varying shades or your basic,,,etc.

An obvious choice to avoid, no matter your preference, might be NO lavendar, with Green? But again it truly is YOUR SPACE.

You have to live with, or in it, and what it offers is more than just COLOR.

After applying thousands of gallons of paint, I have come to know that the customer is always right,,,even when they aren't, and I accomodate them. I may be called back certainly to redo something,,,, and there in lies the blessing.

PAINT///COLOR,,,can always be changed.

Taupe with white trim goes with virtually anything.
Any earth tones, really, but these kind of depend on how you're "dressing" your bed.
