how to design my own room japanese style?

Answers:
Check out Brylane Home, Domestications and Spiegel.com for asian/Japanese bedding, they all have inexpensive comforters. You can get Japanese style nightstands and furniture that also is of good quality, but inexpensive at Home Decorators. All have catalogs and websites. As for the window treatments, you can use inexpensive roll up reed, wicker or paper shades which you can find at the discounters, pier 1 or Cost Plus World Market. It would be very cool to paint one wall red and make yourself a stencil of a Japanese word like peace, imagine, luck, etc. in the Japanese character. You could make yourself a stencil of the character and repeat it in gold randomly on the red wall or make one large stencil in the middle. Pier 1 has nice and inexpensive accessories, pillows, soji screeens (which by the way can be dismantled, laid sideways and make a very cool headboard) and even some furniture which will add to your theme.

I am not sure if you want to order stuff from there, but it may give you some ideas on how it should look. It looks pretty neat though.
