What types of questions do I need to ask a person who will be re uphostering my old couch? He's already suggested new cushions, but I heard someone else say something about tying down springs? what's that and what else do I need to know?

1. Do they need to be retied, or reinforced.
2. will it need new fibber batting or foam rubber.
3. What grade of foam rubber/or fibber the best last longer. also linen cloth around it, and make sure they use it too. Don't let them fool you. Stay and watch them put it on your couch or chair.
4. Nails or Staples?
5. Welts or no welt? around the cushions or trim around the couch.
6. Zippers or no zippers on the cushions.. Better to use Zippers . For easy cleaning.
7. One more about the cushions.. will they be wrap around with no edge in front or boxed with an edge all around?
