Rainfall Shower Heads, I'm confused?

I would like to purchase a rainfall showerhead....i've looked online and own found prices from $16.99 to $400.00
I am wondering, if the prices go up so big, does that mean the cheaper ones (under $50) are purely junk? And what should I consider when making this result.....i see diameter in inches, number of jet, the material the showerhead is made of....what's the most key thing to consider when I'm choosing one?
