I like the pine paneling since I have cleaned it. This is a country house. If I painted the ceiling, what color would be O.K. with this honey colored pine? p.s. I cannot afford to rip it out. The room is 35'x 13'.

you could paint a complimentary color or you could try something i saw the other day on hgtv... wallpaper that looks like wood or bamboo. I saw some at lowes that looks like old pine boards but it is in a pickled white finish...very nice
