Are hardwood floors fitting for babies?
Answers: congratz. i assume runner is better just within case of trips n falls, etc. wood seem more convenient to mommy n daddy. put the baby's needs first. carpet can simply be cleaned with a rental steamer, hot hose and white vinegar (use lots of ventilation during and after) ... but on the flip side, john travolta's wife (kelly whateverhernameis) tell new parents to avoid runner because she claims carpet cause health problems for her babe and herself. maybe she's really into condition or she didn't clean habitually enough
i would read out carpet
so when the infant starts walking,
he/she wont slip, and if he/she happens to dive,
the carpet is much softer.
Maybe as an occasional snack, but I would not nurture them to the baby too commonly.

Alot of relatives say mat first, b/c when they start toddling it will not hurt as bad when the crash (which they will). But, I have read that it is in truth better for the development of their legs to wander on a hard surface, similar to the hardwood floors.
You can keep hardwood floors verbs. Even vaccuming well, the dirt go down into the carpet! Besides, near will be many spills next to a child and the carpet will capture ruined!
anything hard is impossible for babies especially floors. I'd go for the mat.
Hardwood floors will be much easier to clean and will resist stains more so than a hearth rug.
my experience with mat and the children was not fundamentally good. they be sick all the time and I be constantly having the mat cleaned. We allowed no shoes in the house we have no pets and yet the kids be always sick. When we put hardwood floors adjectives of the sickness subsided to almost never. I strongly suggest the hardwood. It looks better and much simpler to keep verbs giving you more time to spend with the babies.
Carpet is correct for when the baby is study to walk and adjectives of that... a bit of extra cushioning when they fall. But subsequently one, when they start spilling stuff everywhere, you'll be cleaning oatmeal, milk, and all kind of other liquids or condiments out of the hearth rug, which is a royal pain within the butt. In a perfect world, I would turn for having hardwood contained by any area where on earth food is involved. Then have hearth rug in the living areas and don't allow the kiddies to bring food/drink contained by there.
Actually, it may even be better to enjoy hardwood all around and basically have some roomy rugs in the living areas. That what I have growing up.
We rent a house now that have carpet adjectives throughout the house, even in the dining room! So I'm a bit anti-carpet at the moment. There are adjectives sorts of toys that don't work on carpet, too... cars and trucks and trains and everything else.

the hearth rug is softer, but baby will formulate messes and ruin the carpet, but it can be cleaned. If tot spills something on the wood she will slip and whack her head on the floor everytime. You can try making sure child never has a sippy cup or bottle contained by that room, but good luck on that. Keep within mind not all babies adopt the spill proof bottles and cups because it takes much more go to suck the liquid out. If you bring back wood floors you can purchase knee sleeves to protect her knees. They hold them at babies r us. Knee sleeves are good on mat too if you ask me.
If your baby falls on hardwood he/she can hurt its self fruitless so i would use carpet.
I would vote hardwood floors next to cheap area rugs or hearth rug remnants covering the main play areas until the child have gotten steady on his/her feet. One smaller quantity hard entity for a infant/toddler to smack his head on seem like a well brought-up thing.
Go near the hard wood floors.Remember the infant will grow and grow.Then be a toddler,pre-schooler,then a teen formerly long.They go thru stages of anyone messy at all the ages mentioned.To mop or replace hearth rug,which is best?Now you see.Oh,Congratulations on Baby....
