Your question is somewhat vague. Are you replacing the toilete being removed with another toilet? If so, get the BETTER wax seal ring.. they have several but get the higher priced one.. I know as I made mistakes in the past by getting the cheaper ones. IF.. you are removing the toilet completely and want to patch the whole.. it depends on what your flooring is. If tile, Home Depot/Lowe/s sells a type of PLUG that you can fit intno the hole.. caulk around it and then over the top, fit in a new tile(if the floor is tiled), cut out a piece of carpet...(if carpet is on the floor) and replace with pieces of wood flooring(probably one square foot) if the surrounding area is wood. EASY to do!!
