What is the size of a standard brick used for building fireplaces?




Answers:    Dude thats just resembling asking what the standard size of a human is.. their is no standard a brick is a brick, go build a fireplace already
Standard brick is 3 5/8" x 2 1/4" x 8"
Other sizes are available
If you are using brickes for a fireplace, you hold to use special bricks, not sure what ther are called, "fire bricks"? If you use regular bricks, the bake from the fire wil eventually cause them to crack, break and even explode! Been in attendance, done that!
