Deck or Patio if long residence solution is screen contained by porch?

I just bought a house that have an old deck that have fallen into disrepair. I have need of to plan to work on it this fall or subsequent spring to have something arranged for prime grilling season next year and wondering if I should build a deck or porch if I am considering longterm (5-10 years out) to put in a screen in porch.


Answers:    If you really plan to do the screen, it would be easier to do so with a deck structure to some extent than a patio unless you are thinking give or take a few a screened gazebo past its sell-by date the patio. We are building a screen porch off the breakfast nouns and adding the square space to surround that so we will have both option. 5 to 10 years is a long time....you could be ready for a complete remodel by that time.
Def travel with a deck, they efficacy more when re-selling.
I would build a smaller deck up above to screen contained by later and at ground height have a larger concrete porch poured. They have masses patterns to choose from and concrete is low running.
