i am trying to identify what year for a dining tables and chairs?
Answers:
Take detailed, brightly lit pictures of the base, legs and underneath the tabletop (for the different hardware used). Take these pictures and one of the chairs (preferably an armed chair, there should be two, with four side chairs) to a few antique shops in your area. They should be able to provide you with all the info you want including an approximate appraisal. Good luck.
Other answers:
There may be a stamp or something under the tabletop or under the seats of the chairs. If you can read it you can check with the manufacturer and they should be able to tell you.

Usually the feet are a good indication, claws.
For the table look at the legs, shape the base of them.
Go to the library, they have many books on antiques, you may be pleasantly surprized.
