What color room would be best for a 13 year old girl?

Pink is the new black, especially hot pink. Keep in my that anything that's painted a dark color i.e. purple will definitely be an issue if you want to paint over it later on. After all, a girl's gotta be able to grow and change with what's hot at the time, white maybe be big again--it could happen. (Not to mention if the house ends up being sold parents don't like having to paint 3-4 coats of white to cover up purple.) A compromise if you can't paint that to-die-for hot pink color, maybe just paint the woodwork and trim around windows and doors or even choose a softer shade. Also, play with the different shades of pink to add a fun curtain or bedding. It's amazing what layers of pillows in complimentary and contrasting shades can do. If pink isn't the girl's favorite color, then by all means find out what is. Good luck and have fun with color.

I had a friend one time that painted his daughters room purple and then with a small hand broom, brushed on some pink paint. It was totally awesome!! Looked great!
How about a nice peach color or a light green. My daughters favorite color for her room was purple, everything was purple even her carpet. think about your daughters personality then decide.
i think a light pink or maybe a light blue or purple so when she gets a lil older she will still like it if she likes them colors anyway
You need to ask her what she likes. If its a surprise then think what colour she wears the most - that's her favourite. maybe have a basic colour like beige or cream and get her to choose accessories of her choice so they'll be her facourite colour.. everything will look good with beige..

Ask the girl what her favorite colors are and have here name off some things she likes or look around her current room to see what she has in her room...use a color that she likes that will go well with things that she already has
