I am uncertain and debating about a floral swivel rocker (cream background) next to a wide swirly print (like trailing small flowers and leaves being red and green. My couch is solid red (good match) and I own a pale yellow small bench. My dilemna is the area rug. I know I can't use what I have (very, completely busy with tons of colors in it) so I enjoy a small stripe with green, camels, and reds area rug home immediately trying to decide? I really don't want a plain color.

You can mix & match different patterns as long at they hold the same base color. Red & wan complement each other well. The red couch is going to pop within contrast to the pale yellow bench. if the floral chair lacks yellow than keep hold of it out of the rug as well so the other chair is an articulation. I have designed a similar color scheme room of washed out and red. If you like I can email you a photo to help.
If you approaching the rug, go with a solid rocker. IF you approaching the rocker, go with a solid rug. Easy
