I don't think black and yellow are going to look accurate together. If you're going with a Japanese theme you obligation to take the Japanese culture into consideration. I've never seen anything Asian themed next to yellow and black! The Japanese culture is all around nature: trees, rocks, water, fire, etc. If you want to paint your walls beside a Japanese theme, I would suggest something with a slate grey/blue color. That is especially tranquil and very representative of Japanese decor. You will need the measurements of the room to find out how much paint to buy. Are you going to paint the ceiling also, or a moment ago the walls. You can buy really cheap paint at Wal-Mart. Forget the black and yellow. It looks like a bee.
