Should I buy a leather couch, cream leather couch, or espresso?
Answers: expresso. cream will show more dirt/stains.
I suggest a couch that goes near the rest of the room and its pretty hard to report you what you should get since we dont know what your house looks similar to.
BUT i do not suggest getting a leather couch. Have you ever sat within a car beside leather seats? If so, hold you noticed that it feel very sticky on your skin and hot? Thats what the leather couches be aware of like. It will stick to your skin resembling a hot summer day and if sun feathery reaches the couch it will be simmering.

Good quality leather will not go and get too hot, even in direct sunlight. The cheap plastic-covered sofas will behave more similar to vinyl, as the other contributers mention. As for the color, they're all neutrals so you can't mess it up too much.
