Tips for decorate a 12 year dated girl's bedroom?
Answers: If you don't want to have to redecorate it in 4 years after I would do a solid color that she will like when she's 16...maybe try a lantern blue, purple, or green. I wouldn't do pink just because she may think that's too "little girl" when she begin highschool.
I would go to websites like PBteen.com, bedbathandbeyond.com, and kohls.com and see the room setups they enjoy for ideas.
not to be stereotypical, but i would suggest having wall colors resembling pink, orange, etc..
since it's for a 12 year old, consequently maybe add a bean purse chair thing.(:
and absolutely a desk, bed, etc..
as for the desk and the bed, etc you can paint pictures on the drawers and such with that 12 year old so that after that, she can remember fun times she had when she was fine art it.
plus, it'd be a good bonding time(:
I think you should paint the walls green to start. Not bright green or mint green but a lovely soft apple green. Dark brown furniture and soft furnishings surrounded by pinks, greens and orange. Soft furnishings are easy to replace as she get older and bored with the look and the furniture will grow beside her as she matures. Keep it fun and add plenty of different texture. Shaggy, silky etc. What is she into?
I mean, horse shoes and saddles would be so wrong for a girl into tennis.
Music,sports,games,internet?
Decorate beside what she loves and you can't go wrong.
