What colour to walls surrounded by my room?

I had all four walls of my room painted lime green, near a white border. I quickly got sick of the colour, and I'd approaching a change. My dad recently finished re-insulating the two outer walls, and I'm immediately allowed to paint them any colour I choose. What colour(s) would tone down the lime green walls that are already there? I mean primarily, which colour(s) would make the lime green less, acidy...

Thank you.

and find a color using their colorsmart find a color that is similar to yours in the "browse color" partition and then coordinate it using their color coordinator. Good luck
I think you should attain a mid-toned brown. I think any other color would just work near the green and make it appear brighter. Maybe like a flimsy, coffee brown would be nice. They look nice together, and it'll bring the brightness of your room down. & to make the room nicer, make a white border on the brown walls too, so it match more.

Avoid the bright colors, such as blue, orange and such. Stick to the earth colors or pastel ones.

What you want will entail to be a neutral color slightly tinted to the opposite side of the lime green, Like an stale white tinted more toward a bluish tint.

WARNING:
This can very easily travel wrong an end up looking worse. I would actually prime and paint the entire room over.

Or call round several furniture showroom stores to see if you can get any ideas, You might see a lime green within use.

Light blue, my favorite color is dark blue but that would look black at night and I hear black is the worst color to have.

My friend said he had black walls for a week and it be the worst because it looks like a dark cancelled and you start to see things in it and freak out. He also walk into them at night because he couldn't see anything. He is probably just a moron though :p.

Anyhow, moral of the story, something fluffy. So light blue would be awesome.
Any earth tones (browns, grays, preferably lighter tones) should do the commission. If you feel like drawing your walls white that would be even better. White goes with anything, and you only just need to match up furniture colors within the room (which can be changed as often as you wish). i think to take home the lime green look toned down and more sohpisticated I would pair it with any of these colours:

low purple
charcoal grey
navy blue

hope this helped.
try a unlit kelly green or a kinda deep blue. not like midnight blue

hope it help and good luck!
Blue?
