What would be a appropriate articulation color for my unmarked college apartment bedroom?

I have freshly bought the bed set for my new apartment within college and I need serve deciding on an elocution color for the room! The comforter is a plum/purple color on one side and the reverse is a dusty lavener. I Absoluely LOVE black and white art so I want something that will work well beside all that. I'm enormously excited about going to college and have a really comfortable and beautiful room. I will be using the furniture to be exact provided in the apartment but it is only just a plain-jane wood desk and dresser. I'm not sure how to tie everything together! Help!

Answers:    That's pretty colourful. I'd stay beside those colours of purple and lavender, and with black and white stuff it's going to look pretty lively and impressively urban. I'd get something else surrounded by purple tones, maybe a short time ago some cool fabric to put over the dresser or hang on the wall as 'art', or a throw rug or two. Then attain a couple of black pillows, or black pillowcases on regular cheap pillows(Wal-Mart) to toss on the bed. You could use dark convoy if you can't find black. They'll break up the large splash of purple you own with the bed set. With purples, black, and white, you don't really obligation any other colours.
You could have a oil lamp color of purple!
