What would you do next to this room?
Answers: "...i want to paint it black..."
Hi Monica; I would think first, what colors reflect your self-image,and that you liked other than the white. I would also devise in terms of what do you most want to fell when you enter the room. Example: an the deep breeze, being at the beach, or a relaxing seaside attitude could mean you might want to use colors such as blues, green blues, blue greens, seashells, clear glass to imitate the water or bubbles, add things to copy texture or color of the sand etc.
A spring day, or a garden may mean you inevitability to use yellows, pinks, blues, lavenders, soft pastels colors, with floral art and or deco pillows etc. Remember its your getaway to where on earth ever your place of peace and relaxation is in order to escape the sunshine to day troubles. Personally, I think you should rob everything to the back yard and host a fire. However, if the linens are Egyptian cotton, it would be faultlessly acceptable to burn them in the front patio.
But, since you seem to be happy beside the stuff, I'll tell you what I tell everyone. Design-wise, your room should be a forethought of you. Preferably a toned down, tasteful reflection of you. If you fill your room solely with the things you love, you will always be jolly in it.
Since your post didn't include any information about your interests, it would be almost impossible to volunteer you any meaningful advice, bar that.
Good luck

you're so lucky! it seems so pretty.
in my room, which i purely painted and got new furniture for (yes!), most of it is blue. the walls are muted blue, and i have satin bedding thats light blue. i enjoy a purple and red lava lamp, and a red lamp. i also hold purple toss pillows on my bed. see? blue+red=purple. thats how i decided the colors to use for my room, but i'm not so sure that will help contained by your situation.
as for monograming your initials onto your sheets, and for the other accesories, to add color, maybe a severely light blue, or light pink, light/dark wan, light gray, or a darker color, resembling dark purple. good luck!
I would incorporate a few simple, but bright colors. Try to limit the amount of colors because you don't want it to become too crazy. Go with colors you delight in and dont add too much color if you want to keep the room "white based". You can attach color in pillows, rugs, wall art, and more. after painting my room oriental coral, living room, fruity ginger, and hall/kitchen red... i wish i had white furniture,.
if you dont mind colors
you should definately make a payment some.
