While drawing the bathroom popcorned ceiling beside a roller. Big pieces of ceiling peal bad. Suggestions ?

I don't want to use a spray gun ( I am not an expert painter ).
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Answers:    We've had some loose pieces of popcorn ceiling as well. I'd right to be heard first see if you can fit them back on. We glued ours stern in place and you can't tell. If it's too behind time for this Lowe's has several different kits, sprays & patching option. They can help you choose the right patch to repair your damage.
Scrape bad the popcorn and put up some other kind of texture. It's easy to do, but messy.

You enjoy to first wet the popcorn with a spray of hose (you can get a decent lawn/garden sprayer for in the order of $20). Spray the popcorn with the water (until basically damp) and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Use just about a 4-inch-wide scraper to scrape the popcorn away, being mean not to gouge the ceiling too much. Professional popcorn removers use a device with a plastic (trash) bag attached that catch the scraped off popcorn, which will be the consistency of wet cereal (this is the messy part).

When it's adjectives removed, you can texture it any way you want using drywall mud - even just smooth. Then weakly sand with a drywall sander (hand-held sanding block that you attach sand screens to - they don't clog up with drywall powder), wipe sour excess dust with a damp cloth, agree to dry completely, and then prime and paint.
As soon as popcorn gets drizzly it falls off - I too found out the hard instrument. You can't roll paint onto a popcorn ceiling. You can use a paint sprayer but you have to cover everything in the room... or you can spritz the popcorn near water and scrape stale all the popcorn, then use a roller to paint the unprotected ceiling... and you might have to do repairs to the ceiling. well drawing a popcorned ceiling seems like a bleak idea anyways. i would say jump with the sprayer, hire a professional, or get an updated ceiling.
Scrape it stale. You can get DIY instructions online.
