My breaker box have no more free space not here. I inevitability an extra slot. What can I do bar buying a different box?
What do I do?
Answers: First off...20 amp doesn't nouns big enough for a stove....You necessitate to install a sub-panel...or actually...hold an electrician install a sub-panel...he'll know what to do>
You can buy some 20A slimline breakers. They are 2 breakers that take up one space.
my brother is an electrition and he say that it IS wrong and you have to hire a quilifyed electrition to come surrounded by and do it for you cuz if you dont and try to do it yourself you can 1. get seriously hurt and 2. you can carry fined for it....so my advice is to hold an electrition come in and do it for you or bye a unknown one
good luck <3
Yes, it is wrong it's too small for the circuit. Stoves enjoy a higher amperage draw.
Buy some piggy rear or tandem breakers, (at least two), and free up some space.
DANGER...DANGER...DANGER! You enjoy to run 6/3 (or 4) wire and a 60 amp breaker to accommodate that appliance. To free space surrounded by the box you could combine some minor circuits, like lights.
thump your new stove to your refrigerator of wash machine queue but don't forget to increase the amperes of your breaker e.g. from 20 amps to 40 amps.
