What mode of table is this?

I bought an antique yellow and white checkered table that have two 'pull out' things on respectively side... (to make the table larger). Just wondering what i bought... and what those 'verbs out' things are called... gratitude

Answers:    The pull out things are leaves. Your table is a pull-out table if these leaves slide out from below or inside the main table top. Your table is a drop-leaf table if the leaves hang down visible at the sides of the table when they are not extended.
I'll second the first answer!
I second Deborah S's second. The motion is carried.
They are leaves.

I'm sure you did not buy a tea table that have pullout teacup rests. Figuring that you didn't know what leaves were, I'm sure you wouldn't know what a tea table is any.
