Listen...it is a basic rule. Only eat a food that is supposed to be made at a place.
If you go to Red Lobster, eat seafood. Do not order the steak.
If you go to Burget King, do not order the chicken patty. It will be horrible.
If you go to KFC, order the chicken...not shrimp or other.
If you go to Ikea and eat something, expect to wish you were dead once it passes...in 30 minutes...explosively! Go to Ikea and buy furniture...not eat!

My Ikea doesn't have a Smorgasbord....I have eaten there a couple of times and I have to say it's about the most bland, cardboard-y food I've ever eaten.
I try to avoid the furniture at IKEA - I prefer going there for the food. If it's not the meatballs then it's the "ethnic" combo of the day, like "Thai chicken". Or sometimes I'll just get a tea with their coffeecake. Did you know that you can buy a whole big pack of frozen Ikea meatalls, so you can eat them at home on your Ikea dining room table?
