What is pane wrap?

We just 10 bought replacement window and they charge $60.00 each to "wrap" the window. What is this, can we do it ourselves and save some money?

Answers:    "Window wrap" is vinyl coated aluminum that comes surrounded by 50' X 2' rolls. These rolls are refered to as trim coil or trim stock by those of us in the trades.I construe it is about $75.00 +/- a coil at Home Depot.
Appropriate length, determined by your window sizes, are cut from the coil and formed to fit the exterior sill and trim on a "bending break" which you may or may not be capable of rent from an equipment rental store.
This project is a bit time consuming and requires attention to detail .
$60.00 ea. is a reasonable price for this project.
Keep within mind that wrapping is not a must but it does make the chore look much better. So if you are on a budget and can't get your window wrapped right away, just know it can be done any time after the fanlight installation.
Yes , most defiantly. Buy it at most home recovery stores life Home Depot. It comes near all the instructions for profoundly less than you be quoted.
