I am wanting to screen in my deck 14x34...there is no roof on the deck...any ideas?

More information would get more detailed responses. Assuming the deck is against the house, you want to frame three walls, two with pitch away from the house, and one load bearing hipped end wall. Gabled walls carry no load, and can be framed minimally. You will need rafters, running from the fascia board on the house to the end wall top plate. I like the idea of fiberglass corrugated "skylight" for roofing. You will have to screw 1x4's across your rafters to fasten the panels to. You should be able to frame the entire thing with treated 2x4. I would space 24" on center for everything. Studs, rafters, 1x4 stripping, etc.
Screen in the walls, after maybe adding a door. It is very important to use hot dipped galvanized, or stainless steel fasteners when working with treated wood.

Umm, build a roof. Seems simple to me.
Otherwise, consider a tent or bamboo (opr other lightweight material) roof which you can remove for the winter.
Are you trying to make it a bug proof deck? You can make a frame with 2x6 planks and nail up corrugated plastic. Many color choices including clear to let in the light. Don't forget to slope it away from the house for water run off.
Move to a house that already has a screened deck.
