Help changeing circular saw blade antediluvian skilsaw worm drive.?

It's been asked until that time, I know... and there enjoy been answers truism lefty loosey, righty tighy; but also clockwise to loosen... So I know it has a compression type nut fitting and it's supposed to be not easy. I've got the long pin surrounded by the hole that keeps the blade from turning any more. I tried turning the nut not here and with in the order of all my monster strength, I get the nut to move about a micron, so I know it moves. I don't want to force it to the point of it breaking OFF if I'm turning it the wrong mode. So, I tried looking online for an old guide for the dinosaur but that was hopeless. I enjoy a new blade standing by and current shelves for the bookcase.... Now I have spent 5 hours staring at the saw and am not getting much closer to getting my books up bad the floor. Here's the model info: it's a skilsaw professional model77 7 1/4 worm drive hd851615
Any help would be Ever so VERY much appreciated! Back contained by the olden days I used it alot, but was NOt the officeholder blade changer. THX

Answers:    the saw depending on the yr should have a button , probably on the top to stop blade from turning.press buttonturn blade until it locks, appropriate a wrench and loosen the nutif u are facing the saw i believe u pull wrench toward yourself. counterclock. if no button cart some type of metal rod "screwdriver" or >> ?? let the rod block the blade while placed perpendicular to blade and resting between two teeth of the blade, the loosen. vice grips could also be used, anything to hold blade from turning. hope this make some sense good luck some are reallllly tight to loosen.
PGG, not sure how antiquated the olden days make you, but nil has changed within the 7 1/4" blade skils.
Lay the blade on its side and whatever channel the blade is turning, take the nut sour the opposite mode.
the blade turns from the bottom forward & up the front, thats the only style it turns to do the job.
thats clockwise and you loosen counter to that.
as the blade turns, it tightens the blade automatically, you obligation not tighten with monster strength.
to loosen, if your blade is turning its turning on the shaft, not the nut.
If your saw does not enjoy a depressed pin to use, place a screwdriver in the teeth and against the front of the bladegard on bottom...this will not allow the blade to turn and you will be turning on the shaft instead. Some of the elder skils were a bit primative to say the most minuscule, but if its 30yrs or newer you should be able to carry it off in need MS
I am pretty sure that since the blade is on the left side as unwilling the direct drive saws that the bolt is lefthand thread. So once you put your locking pin within place you want to turn the bolt clockwise to loosen. You may need a mitt to steady the saw so you can wack the wrench with a wood block or tack hammer.
Lock the blade from turning, now catch a six point wrench and this is important SIX POINT or you will strip the nut.Hold the wrench tight on the nut and thump the wrench with a tack hammer. I have have this problem several times and its worked for me. Saw blades turn clockwise the lock nut loosens opposite,(facing the blade to the left). If the blade turned counter clockwise the saw would be kicking spinal column at you the saw should always be biting into the wood not kicking away.
The bolt on a Skil Saw is reverse thread, gist you turn CLOCKWISE to loosen. This is so when the saw is in operation it tries to tighten the bolt.
It be a while since its been devolution look in the phone book for a Dewalt service center and consent to them remove the bolt for you they are very compliant and cheap and if it does break they would have a alien bolt
