I own a sprinkler system near 8 zone and intend to retire one of the zone. Can I simply clog it?

Or, can I just adjustment the programming of the splrinkler monitor so that it pass the zone? Is this a concerned of work needing a fastidiousness of professional?

Thank you.

Answers:    you could just turn down the minutes for that zone to nil

you could also unhook the wire for that zone so that it never will accidentally come on.

you could do adjectives the above and find the valve and cut it out and put a panama on the line contained by its place to eliminate anything ever leak for that zone.

you could do this yourself without calling a professional pretty smoothly if you know where the stopcock is. you dont have to hat it, its just one smaller quantity thing to enjoy to worry almost.

hope this helps
Most systems merely let you control that from the timer switch. You can turn stale zones by not programming a time for them. I simply set zones to 0 minutes if I want to skip watering at hand.
Change the program to eliminate that zone.
