can paper collated nails be used in a framing nailer designed for wire collated nails?

I am thinking that you must own a BOSTICH framing gun, and the answer is no. You can only use BOSTICH brand nails. There is no generic for these. Almost all other types of nailers will except both paper and wire bound nails. Be sure to watch for 30 deg. clipped or full head. I hope this answers your question. Good Luck
