I am installing a bidet made from Korea, pipe fittings do not fit...US use sweat type what do u mean by sweat?

I want to know the type of thread of american standard and korean standadrd.

Answers:
to sweat a pipe mean to weld it together with a torch and solder

clean both piece with sandpaper apply some sweat liquid (I can't thing of its name) fit the pieces together heat the pipe with a propane torch until the solder melts into the seam until one drop falls to the floor, allow it to cool.

my recommendation is get a plumber to install it for you or take your pieces both US and Korean to a good hardware store and purchase connector that are sweat on one side and threated on the other. you should be able to find some convertion kits

Other answers:

Sweat=solder with a touch. Contact a plummer....
Sweat usually means when you have copper pipes. You "sweat" them together to make a connection. It's where you take a connector, heat up the pipes with a torch and just touch soilder to them. It will ooze into the connting seams and create a seal. I recoomend calling a plumber.
