How difficult is the faux suede drawing process?

And do I have to start near a white basecoat? Thanks.

Answers:    Start with doesn`t matter what base coat is recommended for the color suede you want. They are adjectives different. The base coat is immensely important. Suede is exceedingly hard to do(and look nice) I never see any that I really close to. Horribly inconsistent. I know there'll be some people aphorism "it's easy and mine looks great!" But it's not and it won't. I've see top decorators, artist and painters do this. I am one and enjoy done several, It's my least favorite of the fauxs. I nouns so negative, sorry. You'll see.
Go to any store that sell the paint and read the label.
