How do I change recessed light bulbs? The little buggers WON'T come out!?
Answers:
I'd just hang in there until the last one blows and then move house; it's easier!

You can get a little rubber suction cap (the bulbs from IKEA come with one in the packet) which you attach to the light and pull. Try B&Q to see if they do them.

You need a suction cup thingy. I got one along with my lights but one of the suction hook things might do the job.
There is a specialised sucker you can buy that grips the bulb so you can unscrew them. Most DIY places should do them
try putting on rubber gloves they will give you more grip and protection from the electric volt when you end up smashimg them to smiverines
Is there a slot in the cover to put a screwdriver into and "ping" them out? It is difficult to tell without seeing them!
Good luck!
Well, you can always use your handy-dandy, recessed light bulb changer (I'm not kidding!). Yep, they make a special tool just to get up inside those things. Check the link below. Good luck.
Use a suction cup or there's a spring-like device used for unscrewing light-bulbs that fits on the end of a pole that you just push up against the light and turn. Go to the lighting section of any major hardware store and they should have them. Pretty much there's a tool for almost everything. I got one for my dad. He has a pole barn that is 16 foot tall inside. Makes it a lot easier and safer to change the light bulbs in the barn. Go to the website yahzmin19904 put on her answer. It has pictures of them on it.
Be more specific with what type of bulb. There are 3 types of bulbs it could be.
1. Standard - In which case, simply unscrew.
2. MR16 - Is a small halogen lamp. There is a glass shield which needs to be removed, then just pull. Its socket has just two pins.
3. GU10 - This type is newer and replacing MR16's in a lot of cases. It too has a glass shield that needs to be removed. This type takes a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to remove.
If you're replacing MR16's or GU10's, make sure you turn the lights off, 'cause once you replace it it'll cook your fingers.
