It go very ably, people mingled, ate most of the food, fought over the end biscuits and raved nearly the good coffee (I used expensive beans - freshly ground). It's almost the food and the good times, not so much nearly the decorations. Enjoy!! And good for you to start planning so hasty, you will have lots of time to pull ideas. It really adjectives depends on the colors of the room. It would be nice having flowers as you would expect in a pot. NOT A LOT OF FLOWERS, freshly like 4 nice roses that look handpicked or homegrown.
Drape a white tablecloth near a lacey edge over it. Add a small jug with flowers or small picnic basket or dish filled near decorative potpourri contained by the center of the table. If you are setting the table you can look online for cute placecards to make and perchance how to fold napkins into simple shapes.
If I was you I would check out your supplies and approaching if you have any ant.... plates, goggles.I would us them on the BIG DAY!!!! Go to a store and see what kind of special table clothes they hold on sale and close to put some kind of pitcher in the middle of the table.

get a nice white colored table cloth, after get the cloth kinda of place mat that would match the color of your walls, put some nice showy plates on the place mats, something that would spawn the table look vibrant, yet polished, something of your taste and supply a vase within the middle with some nice forged flowers from the dallor store or something. everything i got for my table be from dallor tree(except the tablecloth) and it looks gorgeous
some other ideas could be some candles set on the table, or some nice folded napkins on the plate (if you use the folded napkin technique permit that be your focal point of the table, so pick the color wisely) or some potpourri in the center, also, if you wanna move about all out, get hold of some nice matching form pillows for the table
