This site has all sorts of homes on it. If the home says corporate owned or HUD. Then it is a foreclosure. Those sites that say foreclosed homes are homes that could be foreclosed, but are not necessarily. If a person gets behind in payment then their home could end up on that site. But not foreclosed. Most foreclosed homes are owned by the bank and require $500 to $1,000 in ernest money and HUD homes are even harder to get. Just to let you know the bank does not like to pay any closing costs on a foreclosed home. If you want to buy a cheap home, buying a foreclosed is not necessarily the cheapest. If you buy a home from an individual then they may pay closing costs or most of them for you and that will help tremendously. Closing costs usually come out of your own pocket and are not added in your mortgage payment. With any home there is the year of Insurance that you have to pay for in advance and most banks require an inspection that can be pricey. Hope this has helped you out.
I put a bid on a foreclosed home yesterday and $1,000 ernest and took $5,000 off the initial price with the bank paying half of the closing costs. They don't like to pay those closing costs. You'd think a bank wouldn't mind. They don't want to do all the paperwork and they just want to get rid of it. They will counter me, I know it.
Type in your state, .gov go to foreclosure.or recorder.
In you local supermarket, and in some convenience stores there are free real estate listing books near the entrance. These books often list foreclosures.
Normally a website will look like this http://www. whatever
You can be assured your credit card will be safe if the site is a "secure server"
The way to know this is when the actual screen appears for you to input the credit card number the title bar should read
https://
The "S" behind http means that it is a secure server. NEVER enter numbers without the S.
