Re: within subterranean vault pool- what if plexiglass walls surround the pool to control moisture and is ozone sanitized?

I am curious regarding the before question in the order of building a swimming pool in the underground room...also would concrete filled cinderblock walls next to rebar inside be strong enough to hold the marine weight? I assume such walls could be treated next to water proofing rubberized paint similar to used for pools. And the ozone purification would prevent chlorine fumes from building up. If my basement slab is 3" gooey is this stong enough to support 3 ft of marine above it? I think creating a closed environment (plexiglass walls around pool sides and ceiling would prevent moisture issues elsewhere surrounded by the home...Thanks in finance for any feedback on this idea!

Answers:    . That is NOT what basements are designed for.
Doesn't yours enjoy a drain? And electrical connections? Those would be weak areas. BUT if your underground room is actually IN the ground, it would support a LOT of hose.
But an area of 15- foot square and 3 foot of height would hold 675 cubic ft of h2o At 8.3 lbs per gallon, that's over 40 Thousand pounds within your basement. ForEver! 20 Tons.
NOT recommended.
