When You Fight some1,who hits 1st you or the other person ? And why?

let them swing first, that way you know where they are coming from. keep your eyes on them while doing this. Counter attack if you can and then just keep up the beating you'll give them. do not let up or you will look like a punk
i say if you didn't want to get onto trouble you would rather have the other person hit you first. that way you can say you were using self defence.
i was always told to throw the first punch.then the person you hit gets caought up in the suprise..and more then likely you win..lol
First punch can be a good surprize but only if they aren't expecting it... but that can be a lil cowardly. Years of Shou-rin Kenpo have tought me to always allow the other person to strike first, deflect the blow, and attack their vital points such as throat, solarplex, kidney, ear, nose, groin, etc etc. but you have to be promp about the counter strike or you can be overwhelmed. This all depends on your size and the size of the person you are up against also. Best bet is getting into some form of martial arts... or just avoid the fight all together.

If you look at this in a large scale; would America hit first or retaliate for a wrong done in the name of peace?...There ya go. If you hit first..you would be like the Taliban. There ya go.
In maturity lies the tolerance of a person/ nation. A secure, mature person is naturally more tolerant. An immature person lashes out. And, yes, by law, if you can be mature enough, innitially, you have the right to defend yourself...and THAT'S when, like America, you divvy out a relentless pummeling !
