what is the best way to wax a floor?tile not wood?

Answers:
Use a commercial floor stripper with a scrubbing pad, a sponge and a rinse bucket, heavy dishwashing gloves and a small putty-knife. Go over the floor section by section, scrubbing to disolve any old finish and loosen any debris. Back away from your work so you finish at the door. Put something on the floor outside the doorway of the room you are doing to make cleaning up easier.
Rinse with a clean mop and clear water. Rinse again. We use a milky-white colored vinyl acrylic floor finish. Thin the first coat with a little water (use a wet mop). Let it dry completely between coats. Three-coats usually does it nicely...apply more if it looks like it needs it. Rinsing the floor thoroughly like that makes the finish last twice as long.

Waxing a floor is archaic. Do you live in an older home? The only reason you would have to wax your floor is if the tile is over 30 years old. If its not that old, any floor cleaner will do just fine.
Well, if the tile floor has grout, I don't know if it can be waxed. The guys at my work do the floors every week and I think you would have to rent a buffer machine and some other stuff. I don't know if it would be a good DIY project myself.
I got professional help. They did a great job in waxing the floor. But I guess you could check out some of the floor wax & polisher from the market.
wash it well, then get a new sponge mop and pour the wax on and spread with sponge mop, the is for liquid wax .never tried anything else on tile.
