What size timber posts should i use for my saloon port?
i am building a car port near a truss span of 8900mm and length of 6500mm. The posts on the load attitude sides will be spaced at no greater than 2170mm appart. It will be a sheet roof at 600 centres and 25 amount pitch. I was looking at using the 125mmX125mm cypress pine posts. Any further suggestions on sizes or timber species would be greeatly appreciated. gratefulness
Answers: if you have anything i.e. equilivent to a 4by 4 inch post, use them.
depoending on climate 4x4 isnt bad i wouldnt be afraid transmit you even go near a 6x6
