Answers:    Have you thought give or take a few using etching cream instead of paint? I have never tried to paint a mirror but I own etched and done stain glass and both be great looking.
If you want to add color I'd suggest doing stain cup. It is easier then it sounds. Just move about to your local craft store and they will have adjectives the supplies and you could do some research on the net 1st but it is especially easy.
You can not paint a mirror. But you could stick on some pretty fancy stick on gold ingots leaf looking junk mail . Clean the glass and lay out the design ,righteous luck
If you go to your local craft store, in attendance are specific paints that can be used to create a stained glass look on chalice and mirrors. You'll find how-to books with the products. You can use stencils to create a shape for the letters or freehand draw them. There's also a technique to create the pieces past its sell-by date the mirror, then use them approaching vinyl clings.
