old ceiling light has 2 red, 2 black, 1 white wires. trying to install new ceiling fan with light kit but it only has 1 black, 1 blue, 1 white wires. what colors do i attach to what colors. there are off/on switches on opposite walls.

test to see which wire is the hot black when the switch is on this goes to the fan black. the white goes to any white up there. the blue is normally for a light kit to turn the light on and off
