Does anyone know of a website or a book where on earth i can cram how to spawn my own staircase?

I have a suitable general wisdom of construction but i am not a carpenter. Only good suggestions please, i intend to try, so please nobody report me to get a carpenter to do it. Thanks!


Answers:    The building codes require that 2 risers and 1 run join up to between 24" & 25". Typically a 7" rise with an 11" run is a well brought-up smooth step. Take and measure the distance between floors and divide by 7". Take the fraction that is to say left and divde by the number of risers the first equation give you. Good Luck.
