I have floating timber flooring in bedrooms and new tiles in bathroom?

NEVER PAINT TILE!!
If you don't want to upgrade them call a floor cleaning company that cleans tiles in your area. they have a cleaner that works similar to a pressure washer but a whole lot less water, that is designed to clean tile. This will make them look brand new and is fairly inexpensive.
Any tile company or Lowes will give you the name of a good company to use.

My only experience of tile paint has been disasterous. Even when done according to the tin it still cracks and flakes. Personally if you hate the tiles that much, remove them and re-tile the rest of the house. Buy white they go with anything and will never date. White tiles with bevelled edges look so much nicer. Just my thoughts.

Agreed, tile paint is disastrous and not a stay fixed remedey.
Have you considered tiling over the existing ceramics rather than having to do a ripout and reinstall.
It is definatly an option.
